These are 300dpi scanned .jpg's of some of the more important hardcopy plans for the UUC Grounds. These are 24bit and they "should" load pretty easily into most any image editor. However, I will provide a disclaimer that this is not a preferred way to view layers of vector data. Better would be either a .dwg or scaled .pdf viewed in a CADD. Next best would be to convert a .pdf file directly into a .tiff/.bmp/.png/etc. But we have enough to get us going. Just right-click on target image to download.

Ben, thanks for posting the grounds plan with my overlay of the meditation path. I need to 'tweak' it, however, to bring it up-to-date.
ReplyDeleteThe two most important changes are:
1. The path as shown goes THROUGH the wildflower garden while there is an emerging consensus that it go instead just OUTSIDE the wildflower garden, along the far edge of the meadow (proposed ampitheatre) and we substitute a narrower, less intrusive spur path, -perhaps of something like flagstones- that would loop through the wildflower garden.
There also needs to be some discussion as to whether or not to locate one of the seven meditation points INSIDE or ADJACENT TO the wildflower garden)
2. When I made the drawing I was confused about the boundary that abuts Hardwood Dr. and so, on the map, the path as currently drawn does not go far enough down the lawn towards Hardwood. I hope to have an updated path map soon.
